Will i have to travel to meet up with my coach?
Initial consultations with your coach are at one of our Central Manchester or Liverpool clinics. However, if this is difficult for you, a skype consultation can be arranged. Your training programme will be provided using the Training Peaks software and you will be given the opportunity to communicate with your coach regularly regarding your training. Therefore, you are not required to travel in order to liaise with your coach.
Any additional supervised sessions and/or coaching support that requires face-to-face contact with your coach will then be charged as an additional cost.

Can Trinamics help me if i am injured?
Yes. If you are experiencing pain when you run, swim or cycle, our physiotherapists can help you. If your pain is aggravated specifically during these activities when you run, it is likely that you have discrepancies within your technique. Our physiotherapists are skilled at highlighting and adjusting these issues, which can then allow you to continue with your training.

Is Trinamics for high-level performers?
Yes. Our team have a vast amount of experience in working with high-level athletes. Furthermore, many members of our team have competed at GB Age-Group level. Our approach is evidence-based in order to get the best out of our athletes. Consequently, we possess a wealth of knowledge and experience to help athletes perform and succeed at the very highest level.

Is Trinamics for beginner/novice athletes?
Yes. Many beginners are worried about how to structure their training or improve their technique. Also, many athletes that are new to endurance sports are vulnerable to developing injuries and are concerned about this. It is important to receive the appropriate support and encouragement early on in your journey to ensure that you achieve your goals and fulfil your potential.

Where are the testing and assessments held?
Running and cycling assessments are held at one of our Central Manchester locations. Swim analysis is currently conducted in various locations including Total Fitness, Handforth and Bolton. When you ring up to book your testing/assessments locations will be discussed.

What do I need to bring with me for testing days?
Bring your usual training/competition attire and equipment. For the bike-fit, you will need to bring your own bike. This will then be used to complete your cycling human performance testing. However we do have a cycle ergometer if you would prefer to use that, or if your human performance testing is on a separate day to your bike-fit.

Is there a waiting list?
Currently there is no waiting list for the service.There may be a short wait for your biomechanical assessments and human performance testing in order to find an appointment date that you can attend.

What is Age-Group competition?
Age-Group competition allows athletes to compete at European and World-level standards against athlete’s within a predetermined age-group. These categories are defined by age and gender. International age-group competition starts from 16 years in sprint distance events, and 18 years in standard and long distance events

Do Trinamics work with clubs?
Yes. We are enthusiastic about building relationships with sports clubs. We understand that many clubs are not able to provide their athletes with the physiotherapy or sport science support required to maximise potential. We can bring our services to your club.

Can I use my own bike for human performance testing?
Yes, If you a method of measuring power output on your bike via the use of a power meter. Otherwise we have our own cycle ergometer that can provide us with all the important information from your testing.
